Model Answer

(i) Diagonal of a cube = $\sqrt{3} \times \text{edge}$

$$= \sqrt{3} \times 6 = 6\sqrt{3} \text{ cm}$$

---

(ii) Volume of a cube = $(\text{edge})^3$

$$= (7)^3 = 343 \text{ cm}^3$$

---

(iii) Curved Surface Area of hemisphere = $2\pi r^2$

$$= 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 7$$

$$= 2 \times 22 \times 7 = 308 \text{ cm}^2$$

The curved surface area of the hemisphere (ice-cream) is 308 cm².
